About Anthony Massara, PT, DPT
Anthony is a motivated physical therapist at Advantage Physical Therapy in Falls Church, VA, who enjoys helping patients return to the activities and lifestyles that are most meaningful to them. He enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, with a particular interest in low back pain, knee and ankle conditions. Anthony also has a passion for working with individuals with limb loss and helping them regain confidence, independence, and function.
Anthony earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University before attending Marymount University, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. His education in kinesiology and experience working with a variety of patients have helped shape his approach to physical therapy, emphasizing individualized treatment, patient education, and functional exercise. Anthony strives to work alongside his patients to develop treatment plans that help them achieve their goals and get back to the activities they enjoy.
Outside of the clinic, Anthony is an avid soccer player and can be found on the field several times a week. He also enjoys coaching soccer through Special Olympics Virginia, where he gets to share his love of the sport with others. When he is not playing or coaching soccer, Anthony enjoys playing disc golf and spending time with friends and family.
